A PAIR OF VIENNA-STYLE COBALT-BLUE AND GILT PORCELAIN VASES AND COVERS CIRCA 1900, SIGNED ROSNER
Each of baluster form, raised on a square plinth base, finely decorated in deep cobalt blue and richly gilt with classical ornament, the bodies centred with finely painted mythological scenes in the manner of the Viennese school, within tooled gilt grounds. The covers with domed lids surmounted by finial knop, flanked by angular twin handles. The lower reserves similarly painted with classical figural compositions. One panel signed Rosner.
