What personal data we collect and why we collect it

The data that you send to us through the communication form of our website is encrypted when they are shipped and thus remains secure. They are collected for communication purposes only and are not forwarded to third parties. If you wish to delete them, you can email us to proceed with their deletion.


If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you sign up for Loudos Fine Art & Auctions newsletters data will be collected about your email address. The purpose is to manage Loudos Fine Art & Auctions’ interest in being able to deliver newsletters to you, as well as offer you the special advantage associated with the newsletter subscription, namely to receive relevant information concerning new services, events or auction lots in categories that you have previously expressed an interest in (online marketing). If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters you can at any time email us at and your data will be deleted in a period of 5 working days.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
