Elegant Art Deco silver tobacco or cigarette case of ribbed design with a cabochon-cut emerald thumbpiece. The interior lid bears an engraved dedication in Spanish: “A Spyros Capetanides, Embajador de Grecia en España, El Almirante Felipe Abarzuza, Ministro de Marina de España, Atenas 16 Mayo 1962.” This translates to a presentation from the Spanish Minister of the Navy, Admiral Felipe Abarzuza y Oliva, to the Greek Ambassador in Spain, Spyros Capetanides, dated Athens, 16 May 1962.
