Description
A GILT CLEAR GLASS COVERED BOWL AND STAND WITH THE ROYAL CREST OF KING FAROUK OF EGYPT Egypt, Reign of King Farouk I (1936–1952)
The set comprising a circular clear-glass bowl finely decorated with etched foliate garlands and gilt accents, the exterior applied with the gilt Royal Crown of King Farouk, together with a matching domed cover surmounted by a facetted finial similarly highlighted in gilt.
The accompanying circular stand with a conforming etched border and a gilt royal crown to the rim.
Dimensions: Height: 21 cm. Diameter of plate: 24 cm.
Accompanied by Christie’s tag.
Condition: In overall good condition, minor rubbing to the gilding consistent with age and handling.
