Description
Convertible games table, early 20th century, of circular form, raised on cabriole legs and finished in black lacquer. The top incorporates a chessboard and is fitted with a reversible mechanism, allowing it to be turned over to reveal a green baize playing surface suitable for bridge, card games and other tabletop games. The interior is fitted with compartments for the storage of chess pieces, playing cards and gaming accessories.

Condition: Surface wear, scratches and minor losses consistent with age and use. Retaining its reversible mechanism and fitted interior compartments.
