Loudos Fine Art present Constantinos Valaes Solo Exhibition in Makedonia Palace Hotel Thessaloniki, “The Olives by Valaes” from October 2019 to March 2020.
Along with Constantinos Valaes artworks we are exhibiting for the first time in Thessaloniki 3 olive trees Constantinos Valaes created with the artist Sake.
The exhibition is currently on view at Makedonia Palace Hotel main lobby.
Constantis Valaes began his studies in fine arts at an early age. He was taught painting and hagiography by Nicholas Kalamvokis (hagiographer) and Elena Binioti (professor of the School of Fine Arts). The technique that he presumed the most was silversmithing and metalsculpturing for which he owns a state degree. He is also a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts.
So far, his artwork has been exhibited at the Czech Embassy of Athens, at the Zappeion Megaron, at the Piraeus’ Gallery, at the Center of History of Salonica, at the Technopolis in Gazi, at the Grand Resort Lagonissi, at the Astir Palace Resort, at the Grande Bretagne Hotel, Domes Miramare Corfu in many galleries such as the Titanium Yiayiannos Gallery, the Skoufa Gallery, Galeri Binyil and others. He has also participated in many group exhibitions.
His artworks has also been offered as honorary awards to: Mr. Klaus Vaclav (President of the Czech Republic), Mr. Carolos Papoulias (President of the Greek Republic), Mr. Dimitris Christophias (President of the Republic of Cyprus), Mr. Antonis Samaras and Mr. Pavlos Geroulanos (as Ministers of Culture), Mr. Mikis Theodorakis (Music Composer), and Mrs. Alexandra Tsiavou (bronze medalist in the double skiff in lightweight rowing at the Olympic Games of London 2012).
Some of Constantinos’ Valaes artworks are permenately exhibited at Astir Palace Resort, Zappeio Megaron, the Town Hall in Palaio Faliro, the Town Hall in Tripolis, the Town Hall in Filiates and in private collections around the world.
He has been honored with the gold medal of the «UNESCO Arts, Sciences and Literature of Greece” for his contribution to art, in which he was Vice President and Head of Public Relations for two years. He was also the Curator of the Folklore Museum of Finiki.
