Hermes Paris – A Brass Nautical Clock and Barometer Set A pair of vintage Hermes Paris nautical-style instruments, comprising a mechanical clock and an aneroid barometer, both housed in circular brass cases designed as ship’s portholes, with hinged fronts and screw-locking mechanisms.
The clock features an Arabic numeral dial with blued hands, while the barometer has a French-language weather scale. Both dials signed Hermes Paris.
The brass cases display an attractive aged patina, with surface wear and oxidation consistent with age.
Dimensions approx. H. 9.50 cm x W. 9.50 cm x D. 4 cm.
Condition: Signs of age and use, including tarnishing and oxidation. Mechanical and barometric functions have not been tested.
