Broche Magnétique (Magnetic Brooch), c. 1990s Magnet, disc, iron filings. Signed magnetic object: iron filings clustered by a central magnet on a compact disc, forming a radiating, kinetic “energy field.” A portable iteration of Takis’s lifelong exploration of invisible forces and the poetry of magnetism. Signed “Takis” on the disc. Brooch is accompanied by Takis box.
