This elegant costume design was executed for The Great Gatsby (1974), directed by Jack Clayton, for which Aldredge received the Academy Award for Best Costume Design. The drawing depicts a refined female figure in a luxurious ensemble inspired by 1920s fashion, featuring a richly textured fur-trimmed coat and a flapper-style dress.
