Nicholaos Christopoulos (Greek, 1880-1967)
Lot comprising of two artworks:
a) The little boats are fishing with trolling lines (boats named Anthoula and Mary in Greek), 1962, oil on hardboard, 9 x 40 cm. Signed upper right in Greek Ν.Α. χριστόπουλος located in Pefkakia Volos (πευκάκια Βόλου) and dated 1880-1962. Frame: 20 x 50 cm. Acquired directly from the artist by the current owners in Volos.
b) Greek boats, 1964, oil on hardboard, 8 x 53 cm. Signed upper right in Greek Ν. Χριστόπουλος and dated 1880-1964. Frame: 18 x 63 cm. Acquired directly from the artist by the current owners in Volos.
