Weltron Model 2001 Space Age 8-Track Stereo System with Matching Speakers
A vintage Weltron Model 2001 spherical 8-track stereo tape player with AM/FM-MPX radio, produced in Japan, complete with its matching pair of Weltron Model 2003 ball speakers. An iconic Space Age design piece from the 1970s, featuring cream/yellow spherical casing, black front control panel, chrome trim and carrying handle. The radio is in working order; the 8-track tape function has not been tested. The set shows age-related wear, surface marks and some discoloration, consistent with use.
